@Fat_Fury
Brimstone is not fire and forget, why would you mention them?
AGM-65D/G, Hammer, PGM /3, and KH-38 all share the same exact IR seeker in War Thunder currently.
Speed only matters in relation to your frag getting “stolen” by a tank on the ground.
Pantsir, ADATS, etc can only intercept weapons whose glide paths are going directly at them.
If your ordnance is getting intercepted by ADATS, Pantsir, etc, target tanks, and launch from the side of the battlefield.
Also there is no “best SPAA” in the game, all are incapable of dealing with top CAS in War Thunder; and is entirely off-topic and irrelevant to KH-38.
Keep defending the KH-38, all you do is prove everyone in this topic correct.
coparing ADATS with Pantsir is a terrible decision, the only thing that ADATS could done better than Pantsir is to shoot tanks with its missle
Firstly, it is relevant to the balance issue with KH38 due to how CAS works. Secondly, I agree that all SPAA in the game currently is incapable on dealing CAS planes, but Pantsir is the closely one to the passing line. By having the best shield and best spear the balance libra has been changed. Part of the reason why KH38 is powerful is because there isnt a great shield against it
I would only compare KH38 with AGM-65D/G, they have same IR seeker and number of loadout, yet they are still different on speed and explosive mass. KH38 hitting near a tank and AGM65 hitting near a tank are very different outcomes
and most improtantly, in order to reduce the probability of misunderstanding. Im not defending KH38 by saying it is powerful. Im saying KH38 being powerful is because I wish to nerf it. It is the one of the op CAS ammunitions in the game and I dislike them
Sorry in advance if you find any of the words offend or hard to read acorss, my brain has malted down after bad sleep quility
@Team_404_nyto
Another dude defending the KH-38 despite it literally having a copy-paste seeker of AGM-65D at this time.
Yes, the reason why KH-38, AGM-65D/G, PGM /3, and Hammer are all OP is cause the only way to defend against them is to be near trees and buildings.
And yes, your post can defend the KH-38 cause you want to nerf it, that’s still defending it.
Also there’s nothing to nerf with these missiles; they’re going to add SPAA this year finally for all 10 tech trees.
I was not a fan of you assuming I was comparing useless SPAA platforms when I wasn’t. I don’t think ADATS nor Pantsir can hit off-line ordnance with any form of consistency; the most people have done is provide conjecture.
I did not denies that the seeker are ths same, I was talking about speed and mass
and there could be a nerf with not the missile but the amount of missiles they can carry
and yes, I would change my mind after they add in any new capable SPAAs but I would not change my mind before it. fire and forgot ordnance should be limited either by their platform or by how many they could carry
and very last, defending means " to [protect] someone or something against [attack]or [criticism]" from the dictionary, how could I defend something while I am criticising it?
yet there are evidence that what type of shell a tank would allows to be used is a factor of balancing
how is this not a artificial nerf made to mantain banlance in the game?
You make the demand that Gaijin should artificially limit store positions.
The tank comparison would be artificially limited AMOUNT of rounds, nothing else.
Further proof of no artificial nerfs.
Weapon selection isn’t a nerf or buff because of the BR system.
Weapon selection =/= artificially nerfing the amount of weapons on a vehicle.
