OP… The current Prem vehicle bundles in the game are all composed of tech tree vehicles - The only exception being the SPAA the Russian pack gets - Why that variant of AA halftrack isn’t also in Germany’s TT already is beyond me, ask Gaijin.
The rest are all vehicles found in current TTs. That can be unlocked and played completely free. Naturally, the premium ones give you more RP and SL and look nicer, but you wouldn’t miss anything by not buying the packs - Outside of the captured German halftrack the Russian pack gets.
The only “unqiueness” that weve got in the packs is the M18 getting an extra MG and the Russians getting a better Zwilling… (The germans should get it as a folder…)
Higher weight is also a good suggestion. I don’t want unique bundles, I just think there should be at most 2 identical vehicles in the game, and more would be meaningless.
Honestly the only theme i can think of atp is a Korean War themed one (T-34-85, Captured Pershing, some spaa) or a higher br one with T-54’s?
At the Chinese Military Museum, there are American M4A3 heavy tanks and M19 anti-aircraft vehicles ,M36 captured during the Korean War. Should they be quite suitable as a bundle?
M4A3 (76) This tank was captured by the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army from the U.S. forces in the Sunchon area of North Korea during the second campaign of the Korean War in December 1950.
M19 This self-propelled anti-aircraft gun was captured by the People’s Volunteer Army from the U.S. military during the Korean War in 1951.
The M4A3 has an in-game weight of 5.7, the M36B2 has a weight of 5.7, and the M19 has a weight of 4.0, which just fits the weight requirements of the bundle.
Trying to think of famous Chinese tanks through history. Closest I could find was this Type 62 captured by the Vietnamese during the Sino-Vietnamese War of 1979. Type 62 #304. Good excuse to have 2x Type 62 in a lineup.
As a Chinese, I can accept it. But its weight seems a little high, 6.7 weight estimates GAIJIN will not give China such a bundle, of course, I very much hope to be able to get such a tank.
Either way, the Chinese tree is as good as any to input Vietnamese vehicles - despite the 1979 conflict and China’s support of the Pol Pot regime. Though, if it is an issue - just flag the Type 62 #304 as Chinese.
Dude this isn’t 2006. That cliche is dead. Wikipedia is fine, ESPECIALLY when it comes to niche and specialized topics, such as this one. They are watched like a hawk and the only people who bother with those pages are people who really care about the details.
