multiple techtrees ingame are missing naval aswell (assuming this is what you mean) so its definately not a make or break

Well Canada’s fleet from WW1 until late 50s would be ok, but beyond that the until the late 90’s when the newer frigates were launched were pretty dismal.
This was the operational fleet through 60s to 90s:

I think the massive lack of unique content in a ground & air tree would be the bigger factor preventing Canada from ever getting its own tech tree.
A full TT would basically just be a sub tree imo, but we’ve got two RCN vessels in game already as seen by HMCS Brantford K-218 RCN subgroup of the Flower class Corvette & the HMCS Terra Nova DDE-259 Restigouche class destroyer.
Somehow I see it as the Almirante Latorre class Super Dreadnought Battleship HMS Canada as the top ship of the branch

As we can see with Australia…some countries can appear as subtrees or individual vehicles on other trees, as they have not enough vehicles for their own tree…for Canada it will be the British tree for sure.
Navy will have no effect on the decision…
Just put it in the British tree. Maybe if Aus and Canada get a more solid footing in the British tree, Australians will get their Abrams back. Should not have gone to the yanks.
