Ideal payment option not available on Gaijin.net store

Seems this issue is still on going, i’m based in NL and have only the VISA option showing. That sucks because i can’t use that payment method. I always used Paypal and iDeal but all these options are gone now.

It’s hard to believe that such a major issue is not resolved quickly, this is literally costing them thousands in missed income from the store.

In the Chinese region is also facing a similar problem to this, it seems that there is no WeChat payment and Alipay which are the two most common purchasing methods for Chinese players to buy market coins ( GJN ), really want the game official to send money, but this action seems to be rejected!

If you don’t see those methods for GJN purchase specifically, it means your account doesn’t fit the requirements. You can read about them here https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us/articles/115000706645-Replenishment-of-the-Gaijin-Store-Balance

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the issue here. My account and that of my friend meet all the requirments listed in that link and yet we are unable to see any other payment method other then VISA.

I’ve even recently made payments with other methods like iDeal and Paypal in the Gaijin store so on my account there don’t seem to be issues.

Thanks for your response, but I would like to say that I purchased the M1A1 HC ‘click bait’ pack on 26 June this year, and purchased the Golden Eagle several times in May and June this year, and I am aware of the terms and conditions in the link you posted, and in order to confirm this, I purchased the Golden Eagle again yesterday, but today my market coins ( GJN ) still doesn’t have payment options for WeChat Pay and Alipay Pay.

You don’t quite understand the conditions. Any purchase of GJN substracts from your allowed limit, and you already exceeded in over the last year.

As an example, if you purchase Clickbait pack for $70, your allowed replenish of GJN will become 140. But if you already purchased 200 GJN in the last 12 months, you still won’t be allowed to use Wechat/Alipay for GJN replenishment until you buy something in the store that is worth at least $40.

I Hope they fix this soon…i’ve tried submitting a ticket through customer support but it’s like talking to a brick wall, i’m pretty sure it’s being run by AI.

They say i have to change my location and make a successful payment in order for it to be processed…but i cannot make a successful payment because i can’t use VISA…but they fail to understand that it’s really frustrating!

The bank card is the only viable method to confirm your location. Since you have to live in this country, go to the bank, open the account etc. It doesn’t have to be a Visa specifically.

That’s a problem because my bank card is Debit Maestro and doesn’t have a CVC/CVV code, which is a required field in the checkout. I even contacted my bank and they confirmed Dutch bank cards don’t have that code…So it seems we are screwed then.

Ask them for special card you can use in internet. It’s a thing in various countries (they work like credit cards, but to use it you need to charge it with money from your account). Such cards got number and CVV code and are usually an additional product you can add to your bank account.

You are correct, my bank offers those kind of cards, but nothing is free in this world and those cards cost a certain amount per month to own hence the reason i don’t want to have one. It’s the same reason why i don’t own a credit card.

And i never needed one since Paypal en iDeal was always available in the store until recently…

Such cards that you describe are not authorized for the online purchases anyway so you have to use another one, there are many free virtual options out there.
PayPal and Ideal are available, but not for Ukraine that you have in your account settings currently for whatever reason. I changed it back to Netherlands since you have a Dutch mobile number linked.

Thank you very much! That’s what i had been trying to do via customer support but got stuck in a loop about needing to make a successful payment in order for the country to switch to NL.

Now it finaly show me the payment methods that i have been using in the past, problem solved!

I have exactly the same problem. When I want to make purchases, I can only use Visa or Mastercard. The problem is, I can only pay with iDeal because I don’t have a credit card. So now my question is if you can also set up my account so that I can pay with iDeal.

You have to talk to support and provide some proof that you live in the country you want to change your account to. Local mobile number is one way of doing so.
Cause if you don’t see Ideal it means you don’t have Netherlands in your profile settings.

May I ask who is imposing these limits? Are the limits the same for each country?
I’m a retired adult and I want to throw my money at Gaijin yet cannot!

One of my largest concerns is that the Anniversary Sale is going on and I can’t buy anything.

What exactly is your issue? Are you talking about Ideal as well? I see that you have US in your store settings, and in this case obviously you won’t see a local Dutch payment method.

I would say that no longer being given the option to use my debit card for purchases is my issue.

And when you try to use regular visa/master button it’s getting declined? Or do you have one of those cards without CVV code?
