Hmmm it stated Beyond Visual Range capability, does that just mean LOAL for the Python 4s (Which I never read about being present before the Python 5), or could is potentially use the Derby? Surely it’s not refering to the R-3R right?

Can you find more concrete proof of it carrying said weapon (but hey this might be enough)? That way we can alter the suggestion above since it’s not listed as a specific armament. This would be game changing for this aircraft.

As far as I’m aware it was never mounted as there was no need for it since it is simply an export platform that wasn’t really ““made”” with its full capabilities other than like one demonstrator.

On the official IAI Brochure it mentions BVR capabilities so they may be implying that the Derby has been integrated into the FCS of the aircraft. If it did get mounted on the plane or not is another question, especially since it is just a demonstrator aircraft. Regardless, gaijin might go the Yak 141 route and give it the Derby.
