no one proved that its a mockup in the pic.
It was displayed, + the seeker is blacked out like one of the mockups. Regardless, this is not a KH-38MT thread
The ASRAAM was made and is known to be made and to be tested, etc.
This does not have a photo of neither being tested, or being shown in operation.
It was most likely meant for compatibility, do you really think they would put on a live missile in a factory?
both are enough proof for gaijin.
Enough proof, as already said in the KH thread, is having proof of it being tested at bare minimum.
This was never provided. A brochure is not sufficient proof, as there are even brochures about things that were never made with specs on them.
I honestly don’t even remember what I thought of when I wrote that 8 months ago
by that logic we dont have proof of su30mki launching the missile.
I’ll try to explain it one more time
This is about the missile
The ASRAAM was BUILT, and the MKI is getting more western integration onto it.
This has nothing to do with the MKI, and the inert missile is seen to be fit on it. In this case, there is no proof needed, because the MKI isnt a missile
Didn’t they start fitting their mkis with aesa already?
Pretty sure thats still ongoing with the Super Sukhoi project
Yep, but I thought they already started doing so
In which case that makes the mki the only flanker h with aesa if I’m not wrong
Prolly in testing, as the Astra Mk.3 is planned to be used with it
Is it same aesa as on Tejas?
I think not
Tejas Mk1A originally used Israeli 2052 AESA, but now they use Uttam
MKI is planned to get an Virupaakhsha AESA
almost all of them are dogshit sources
but nonetheless it can still recieve the r77-1 as swiss f18 have aim7p they never got (and kh38ml/mt too)
still not integrated yet afaik
nope
i think it will depend on what BR they want it to stay at.
even with all those stuff it wont be higher than current 14.3 br
su30mki will be 14.3 along with su30sm
