Meteor is very expensive and aside from that there is no permission of French to integrate these missiles with any other country systems in IAF. One example is of Tejas Mk1A which has Israeli AESA radar and French are not ready to let us integrate that missile in Tejas. Only when Uttam comes online in Tejas will French allow Meteor integration.
