I tried to download the new update but it shows a 6h time with low internet speed, i want to switch to steam since it’s a good platform with zero similar issues and i already use it daily, any tips to not download the whole game again or have issues with account since my steam profile is not the same one on my WT launcher.
In the settings for the launcher you can change the download settings.
Another thing to consider would be pinholing your connection to make the ports forward to your machine.
I’m wired to the Wifi.
I turn off Seed after download, and I allow UTP download.
I’m pretty sure I had everything disabled to force it to use HTTP download but changed it last month to mess about.
Also your wifi will cause you grief… Always got Ethernet cable where possible.
Yeah im using Ethernet, but is there any way to switch to steam, i just want to launch the game from there not change to an actual steam account.
Thing is, it’ll try make a steam account, as you won’t be able to link your steam account.
And whilst you’ll be able to download, and install the game, and you can login via the launcher from the folder, you’ll run the risk of it playing up when you start the game from steam.
I’d try fix your setup. If you use a VPN at all, try start the download with that active and see if it goes any better.
