I sure do love playing a game with absolutely No Russian Bias!

I mean cmon, 100 positions like this exist on every WarThunder map, While maybe 10 per map are fit for a Nato MBT to get hull down in.

If we disregard that 14:1 game, we come to a rating of 48:27, which is ~1.78 K/D. Impressive and absolutely busted, T-72A should go to 10.0 immediately.

@Heavytanker1945 do tell me how German T-72A has worse armor than USSR one ?

Challenger 1 in the same position, Turret ring exposed, Hull partially exposed where most tanks could ark the shell over into your hull. While the Russian tank literally exposes not a SINGLE weakspot when in the same position.

I hate to break it to you, but APFSDS does not arc like this.

Uh? What? He gets his breach and crew sniped through the weak roof armor. Refer to the video I sent above.

it’s mostly having no team at all one death leavers they leave the game you end up against all the enemy team that’s why i avoid playing top tier.

Uh huh… is this weak turret armor in the room with you now?

Also yeah, APFSDS has a Arc to it that you can work around, i do it all the time.

The angle you show has the barrel staring into narnia. Also, this little mound of dirt is not found in actual maps. Its only the test drive.

What do you mean, his darts travel at 500m/s.

NOPE. That barrel is aimed right at the T-55 down range.

I even had gun depression left to play with.

I see. However:

If you really think it wouldn’t take me more than 30 seconds on ANY map in this game outside of City maps, to find a Position i could do this exact tactic in, you are daft.

Stop being pedantic and accept that Russian tanks don’t have a problem with gundepression, or going hull down. Its just that you don’t know how to do it.

I sent a screenshot of 1 position that RU tanks are already cucked out of. I can send far more.

Go ahead. It has to be a somewhat good position that can net you kills, not one that sits at the back of the map and gets you none.

Hell even with the late model T-72s with the changed turret roof and a worse gun depression, you can still do the same exact tactic with ease.

Guess who actually gets to shoot at an enemy in a spot like this ?
With the latter I actually had to crest fully before I got enough gun depression.

That is not a “slight slope”. It is an area of flat ground which quickly transitions to tall terrain due to a sudden, high-angle slope. In fact, that’s pretty much the only type of terrain on which tanks with worse depression angles are equal with the opposite.

Terrain with a slight slope is actually unfavourable to tanks with low depression, because even a 8° slope exceeds Russian or Chinese MBT depression limits. You might argue “Above the 10° threshold, they are equal, which makes extra depression useless”, and that is partially correct; if you are occupying a reverse slope with such a high angle, there is no difference between the two. But wait, this is only true given a condition! The condition is that the angle of the slope of the hill stays constant, or very close to constant, throughout the area the tank occupies at the crest of the hill.
With exception of this and the aforementioned sudden slopes or vertical walls of suitable height, higher depression limits will lead to an increase in performance. It’s simple to picture.

You may have realized the error in your logic now. Such a straight slope is extremely rare in maps, since natural terrain rarely has such sharp angles and uniform slopes. Additionally, the height does not matter as long as the raised area is higher than both tanks. What is actually important is the vertical distance between the gun barrel’s point of origin and the highest vulnerable spot; a lower distance is optimal. And few NATO MBTs have a high distance here.

You find me a position on a Map that allows you do that, without any sort of fire coming in from any direction that could kill you… Ill wait.

You won’t. I’ve played this game since 2016.

And The maps aren’t built for NATO MBTS, especially the modern remade ones that have removed basically the LAST hold out spots where NATO MBTs could do their job.

Now it all just caters to Russian vehicles.

Literally any map/spot combo that looks similar.

And exclusively play almost only one nation.

They ARE built for NATO MBTs with their quick reloads, good gun handling, good mobility, and great reverses.
The difference is, that NATO tanks can play both flat and hilly maps, while RU tanks cannot play hilly maps. So, the maps are better for NATO tanks.
