If your 1v1ing fighters it’s because they are idiots or you meet the few high BR acft without flares. I would have to point out that getting ground kills with ACFT at ~10.0+ isn’t very hard the the entirety of ground has absolutely no ability to fight back against ACFT at that BR and it just starts spiraling after 9.7
it depends. of course a really good player will avoid fighting or spam SARH.
A good number of kills is by punishing head ons. roll around their spray, turn 180, and either gun or missile them from behind.
This is also true which is why i would love an update that is just adding spaa. Lower brs also have this issue but that is partial due to people spamming them as tds and pushing their brs above their effective aa brs
One of peoples main complaints is that basically every update russia gets new AA and CAS options to fill “gaps” meanwhile USA, Brittan, Japan, Italy, and France have massive gaps in their AA lines, while never really getting a useful AA ever (Italy). also Germany and Japan are the only two countries without guided ordinance at that BR and the A-10 is defiantly the worst aircraft performance wise to carry it at that BR. AA is needed for all countries in game but one. and that is the current problem
Yeah, it has been a US v Russia thing for a while which left the other nations screwed.
I feel like what happened is that the US was dominating cas so gaijin decided to spam Russian spaa to counter it. Now that Russia is getting top rate cas, the lack of US spaa came a huge problem.
At least we should be getting better spaa soon. Of course the real question is what exactly will we get.
At no point in the history of ground has russia ever suffered for a lack of SPAA or CAS. Other countries defiantly got power crept by the US and russia though. I double it’s gonna be any good they do too many event focused on ground attackers to make AA’s good, it’s just bad for their wallet
Maybe they had options but the US has had the strongest cas at most brs for a long time.
I expect we will get an all or nothing for the new spaa. Either we get stuff that has like 18km range or we get stuff that outranges the pantsir. I am expecting the later due to them expanding the air maps recently. If they were goign to add 18km range stuff, they would have zero reason to due so.

It most definitely is. The AGM-65’s and GBU-39’s among other F-15E weaponry can easily defeat Pantsyr’s.
You can simply take the X-38 out of the game or weaken them like the brimstones did. Let me remind you that the developers do not introduce overly unbalanced weapons into the game, such as the AGM-114 Hellfire or AIM-9X.

Yes, Gaijin will introduce Sherman-based and Helf-truck-based anti-aircraft guns for the United States. Over the course of a year, they introduced 4 anti-aircraft guns and an air defense system for the USSR, but did not give anything for the USA.

Don’t reference statcards all that much. The AGM-65’s on the F-15E can easily be launched at 15 km. The Pantsyr’s maximum effective range is 15. Watch a F-15E CAS video on youtube, see how much of a “threat” the Pantsyr is to F-15E’s.

I’m not saying that US SPAA is good in War Thunder, but Russian SPAA isn’t exclusive except for the Pantsyr.

Well, by doing so, they weakened the US CAS even more. Now other countries also have imbalanced anti-aircraft guns. But the United States has not provided air defense systems for three years.
Lmao it doesn’t take a pro to defeat the Pantsyr. It’s actually extremely easy. Other planes are your only problem.
I agree that SPAA’s are imbalanced but the US isn’t the country with the worst one. ADATS got its missile buffed recently too.
