I found out that British (some tanks such as Worrier) French AMX30s and Leclercs Ussr and chinese T series have their fuel tank explode with every shot. i just finished a game where enemy hit my back side of the tank where were engine and a fuel tank. outcome i died. yesterday i was fighting amx30 and only hit his fuel tank, which was visible and i killed him by exploding his fuel tank. Id like to tell me why this is in the game and why years of research about usage fuel as additional armor were tossed into trash bin by game developers. in my past 2 week i didnt die to a crew knowhout. all my death were fuel tank explosions. And please dont respond with “Bias”. if it happened once its okey but if it happends 9 times out of 10 this is crearly not a bug.
The fuel tank exploded is very misleading, it seems to appear a lot more than it should. Shooting the T-series in the turret and killing the crew sometimes gives me fuel tanks exploded.
I remember like 3 kills I got were due to a fuel tank exploding, other times it just eats the spall and vanishes. I don’t how does burning fuel splashed around the tank not kill the crew tho
Fuel tank should not kill the tank. it should reduce spall of solid shells and increase protection from HEAT. But in the game it is just second ammo rack
