In short: my account was hacked after I unlinked two-factor authentication, and the support team insists that I sold or transferred it. I agree that this sounds strange, but they ignore the fact that the same thing is happening with my second empty account. There is literally a system that “monitors” accounts for anything valuable, because my empty account is still being accessed daily from different countries. This explains why, after removing the authenticator, my main account was stolen—perhaps it’s a virus or some kind of bot. I quote: “There can be no question of a account hacking in this case.”
If it’s not a hack—then where are these logins coming from?
Seeing as this account was created over a year ago and both are getting targeted your system is probably infected. Assuming you tried to change your password of course.
Also I don’t think you can remove an email address from an account that easily.
You can most likely log back in somehow, change your password and revoke other sessions. Then add your 2FA back. Of course do all of this on a clean machine.
scan your system for keybind hooks .
I understand that my PC was infected with a virus, but now I’m from another PC and this is no longer a problem.
The problem is that they don’t restore my account, even though they’re convinced it’s mine because I sent them transactions from my card and they made sure it was mine.
Are you sure you can’t log in with the “Forgot password” function?
No
Tell them your system was infected by a RAT (or similar malware) and that the attacker removed 2FA from your account just before they linked their own phone.
I gave them all the evidence that it was my account, named the hardware and all my providers.
The problem is that they insist that I sold my account.
(how does that even happen anyway?)
Did you say that your entire system was compromised granting the attacker complete control including remote access?
I don’t know how it happened here but there are a lot of ways. Even just playing some old MP CoDs can get you infected since they have RCEs in them. Or playing minecraft on a server when Log4Shell was active for example. You don’t really have to go out of your way clicking on random links to get infected.
Yes, I said that most likely my password was not reliable enough and it was merged into the database, or I just had a virus, it also showed how they log into my second account, but their answer is “Unfortunately, this does not explain third-party logins and linking another phone immediately after you have disabled account protection and unlinked your phone from it. In this case, there is no question of any account hacking. All actions with the account are easily explained in only one way - the voluntary transfer / sale of the account to third parties, which is prohibited by our user agreement. You have one last attempt to honestly tell us what really happened to your account, otherwise it may be blocked for violating our user agreement.”
No idea what this means.
I suggest you expand on this. Tell them your other accounts (not Gaijin ones) were affected as well if they were.
While it is user’s responsibility to protect their systems there is still a possibility to get affected by some zero day. It is unreasonable to blame users for getting compromised by such exploits.
I informed them, but they are writing literally (It was an account sale, you have one last chance to download it to us honestly, otherwise we will delete it)
I don’t know then. Try to escalate the issue somehow if you can. Mods on the forum cannot help you. Every account related issue gets redirected to support. I guess the only people on here that can help you are a few developers that are sometimes active on here.
Try the Russian forum as well. You might have more luck there.
PS If you have some screenshots of an antivirus scan indicating a virus (rat or otherwise) include that. it might help
I’m from Russia myself, but I don’t have access to the Russian forum, and the old computer is already in the trash.
I would raise the topic that my account is accessed every day (and account protection does nothing) in the hope that I will buy equipment there to steal the account, but I do not know where to raise this topic.
Okay, I think we need to create an application in English.
This is some kind of hell, there is no technical support for the fact that my account is logged in every day, this is not proof of hacking for them, I cannot write to a Russian-speaking forum because I cannot transfer my account to the CIS, I cannot create a post on Reddit because the account has just been created
