just be more conservative with your ammo and hit killshots, if youre having trouble go into arcade with it to learn how much to lead with the indicators
use how light they are to jink and dodge

use how well you can outturn people at low alt to get your 120-200 rounds of near instakill 20-23mm ammo to kill the enemy before they kill you with their 1200-3000 rounds of 50 cal

40% skill issue. i have 400kills and 217 deaths with yak3,your advice is useful i will use it in next match

my shots somtimes land and somtimes completely miss im just tired of that i wanna shot my enemys like im pissing on them and dont give a f about ammo storage

advice was worthless i got to headon with an spit fire and hit him 9 time but last second my pilot died with 1 shot he managed to throw XD
isnt really a thing that exist, not even american props get to do this the fire rate on 50cals is like 800-1200rpm and most get 400 rounds, its just a lot of ammo because of the total number of guns
maybe like the f4 corsairs with the 20mms like the f4u1c you could more experience this
generally headons are always bad ideas, so I wouldnt blame the advice because of that
When I fly the Spitfires with the low cannon ammo I have small cal. guns bound to left mouse button and large cal to the right one, once I start landing MG rounds on target I’ll open up with cannon too, you could give that a try

most of my succsessful matches was becuase i had high alt and flank bombers or strikers by going on their six but in headons its pretty nail in the coffin for me
the i225 is good option but its pretty slow manuver
It gonna be really hard for you to play early jet then… they have way less ammo.

not neccesarily worth it in the yak3s, i wouldnt go past like 3km alt, and pick your battles, dont extend too far past your team, and pick on planes you can easily win against first
