The armor is inaccurate, the Reload is seemingly inaccurate.
If Gaijin really thinks a 105 with a assisted loader is going to reload SLOWER than hand loaded 105s, then what the hell. The loader in the TTD literally just had to ram the rounds into the breach, the Bustle mechanism did everything else, and it was pretty damn fast. It was a simplified Maget system, SO i don’t see why this thing should reload so slowly, especially when the Russians with a Notoriously unreliable and slow Autoloader system, get almost whole second faster reloads.
The mobility is good yes, But… And don’t even get me started on the annoying AF fact that it for YEARS has had the wrong engine sound. IT shouldn’t sound like a Centurion, it shares not a SINGLE Component with a Centurion, So why does it have the meteor engine noise, and the transmission whine of the straight cut gear Merritt brown gearbox?
The TTD used a DIESEL V12, if anything just use the same engine sound as the Olifant Mk2 and be done with it.
Yeah, that is kinda what im talking about, it wasn’t a BAD tank, and they easily could have buffed it to be a really good 10.3, instead of lowering it down to 10.0 to where its now just stomping on 9.0s without any contest.
It absolutely deserves its 5.0s reload, the 6.7s reload is quite sad for a 105mm at this BR. There’s a reason it went down in BR. Doubt it’d ever get its armor buff tho
