I can't take screenshots

When I try to take a screenshot using F12(steam), no screenshot is taken, and the game minimizes and then reopens. With the Snipping Tool, the game minimizes itself and doesn’t reopen automatically.

Hold the windows key and press print screen. will take a screen shot. You will have to paste it into Paint though and save it.
