You need to lock your radar onto a target first and then maintain that lock until the missile hits

Ok your on a F-4 Phantom which has Fox 1 and Fox 2 missle some require to be used by radar the other type only need heat signal from the aircraft engine… so you need some more keybinds for radar missles.

Yeah I know. As others said you need to setup a keybind to lock a target with your radar. Only then can you turn on the missile seeker.
I was talking about your post with that. If you just put normal text in it should not do what your post is doing.
I set my key binds yesterday. I decided to do a test flight and whenever I use the Aim 7f sparrow I cant lock anything, I literally cant lock anything, even if the jet is right in front of me, my key bind for locking targets doesn’t work with them but it does work with the AIM 9H Sidewiner missles.

Yes because you need a radar lock active before you can enable the missile lock.

How do you enable a radar lock? That’s probably my issue.
Okay well that’s a bit hard to explain in text. Take a look at one of those linked vids with radar tutorials. Or just search for wt radar tutorial on yt. You need to have a keybind for lock radar target, select radar target and one or two others.

There’s your issue, aim7’s arnt good rear aspect missiles they are primarily used for head on engagments
