Hello Warthunder Community i have Recently switched to ubuntu but now when i Start The Game Over steam with the option “game launcher” it still Opens the game launcher normally but unlike windows when i start from the launcher it doesnt let me use my normal acc and it uses the auto created steam acc and it doesnt let me logout basically i cannot use my real acc to sign in to the game no matter if i use the Launcher or Just launch the game normally over steam I need help pls
also if i go into the steam options and into the games files and i launch the launcher without steam it logs into my normal acc i am confused as to why steam auto logs into steam with the launcher but the launcher itself doesnt do that
I think you cannot login with your normal account if you intsall warthunder through steam, and you can only use steam account. Trying downloading it through website and the logging in
no, you most definitely can login using your normal account
Go to your profile and click switch user on the bottom right. You should be able to sign out and login using your normal account

Thx for the help but i found another solution the switch user doesnt appear for me but i found out on a reddit post that you can just type -nosteam into the Start options and now it works
