I have played this game on wired, wifi and even mobile data in the past 2 months and had no such issue on any of those so I am inclined towards his infrastructure being out of wack.
Sure there were some matches with an ocasional PL spike for a couple seconds or match or 2 that just disconnected everyone. But what he is describing is way too much for it to rule out his wifi as the source of the issue.

Based on my own personal experience with a very similar description of issue, I eventually ended up with two theories, one involves your ISP…
And the other one will get my coment removed LOL.
Anyway, It’s obviously not your fault. It’ll eventually pass if it’s your ISP.

What kind of a reason is that?
Are you on a laptop without rj45? → adapters exist
Are you not allowed ethernet cables inside your domicile?
Are you afraid of wires?
Do you just not want to?
Like what is the actual reason you cannot use it?
I am trying to help you diagnose the issue here and you are being uncooperative. It could be the ISP as someone else said and the easiest way to test that is by trying wired connection. If jothing changes then the issue is in either gaijin or your ISP( if similar issues occur doing other things then this might be the case)
there is nothing for you to diagnose that i haven’t already done myself,i’m telling same thing happens with me being 5 m from the main router or not.
This was always the case more or less,but it has gotten significantly worse when they ‘merged’ the EU and russia servers.
NA servers? I’ve been getting massive PL spikes since the update. Trying to complain about lag will only result in idiots trying to gaslight you into thinking it’s your fault.
Try switching to EU/CIS servers. They still get PL sometimes, but only 1 in every 20 games instead of every other game. Of course, EU/CIS players don’t get the lag spikes so they just end up thinking it’s a problem on your end.
Your motherboard has an ethernet port as will your router. Just the rubbish. If you’re gaming on some laptop that doesn’t even have a ethernet port than that laptop should be sent to landfill. However ethernet to USB adapter’s exist.
Though, with your main point, often PL is out of your control. It’s an ISP issue and you need to capture the game server IP (via Wireshark) and start doing tracerts.
Okay but you’re still usign WIFI. Why not just tell us why wired is not an option?
Then it must be you ISP with issues since I have always been playing on EU servers and have not really noticed any difference in the past years
Sim and custom battles help highlight the fact that it’s on gaijin (or whatever company is handling routing) rather than your own network.
Regularly, I can join match A in the ASB EC lobby browser, notice 10% PL.
I leave, join match B. No PL.
Rejoin match A, PL back.
It’s specific lobbies that give you packet loss, not in general. It’s probably to do with some of the data centers gaijin is using in certain regions.

I get PL sometimes as well on PC that is normal. But whatever this guy is experiencing is not normal.

ISP or gaijin issues then.
I mean pl is like average times but always in my air matchs is more normal and last time in grb i get killed for that i post a video on tik tok flying with my f18 and just kiss the floor with a 40% pl
