Isn’t it supposed to be “a SPAA”?
SPAA is an initialism so you pronounce the letters separately and not like one word, the “S” is pronounced like “es” so “an” would be the correct usage there i believe.

Sometimes yeah, but there are WAY more confusing options to learn as a second language (depending on your native language). I’ve heard that French is really hard to learn the numbers and spelling in, mandarin is supposedly really hard to learn to speak as just a slight pronunciation change can completely change the meaning of the word and Finish is apparently really hard to learn the words in because they have many variations of the same word depending on the context it’s used in and combine words to make new meanings.

i know, but i feel it’s more enjoyable to play with ZA-35, just imo.
i have saw a lot of people flanking enemy tanks with it and getting lots of kills just cuz BRRRTTT
idk nothing about french, but as i know is basically just a very different variation of spanish (which is my main language, btw).
italian is also just a variation of spanish and in my country the accent is an italian accent.
This is just things i’ve heard/seen randomly online :P
But as an example i’ve seen for French; the word “Bird” is “oiseaux” and that word is pronounced “wazo” . For me that pronunciation is not even close to how you spell it making things like that a lot harder to learn.
You use “An” when its a vowel sound. Generally you link it to vowel letters but if you say it out loud you’ll notice it.
“An ess-pee-ay-ay”
Best common example is “Hour”
“I’ll be there in an hour” since you say it “Our”.
