On July 20th, 1951, the Hawker Hunter jet fighter took to the skies for the first time. Thanks to its speed, reliability and easy maintenance it quickly became a favorite of pilots across the world: over 20 countries used Hunters, while Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) still employs them in its air force today.

From July 20th (10:00 GMT) until July 24th (10:00 GMT) the Hunter FGA.9 with Rhodesian Air Force livery will be available for purchase for Golden Eagles.

The Hunter FGA.9 may not be the most maneuverable fighter, but it’s really fast and has a great climb rate β€” making it perfect for Boom β€˜n Zoom attacks with its terrific AIM-9E Sidewinder missiles. And when they’re out, 30 mm ADEN cannons start singing: even one hit with their rounds is usually enough to critically damage enemy aircraft.
