Hunter AFV: Singaporean Hunter

Sometimes I struggle to understand the person who decides where the vehicles go, considering that Israel already has three vehicles with the exact same armament as this one from Singapore. They didn’t need it at all; wouldn’t it have been better to add it to Japan?

Honestly after I saw the nomad being added I see it as a possibility they’re just trolling at this point adding things to places that are already filled with it at it’s specific br and rank range

They have got to be trolling

On the one side they told us that they don’t like adding vehicles that fill the same role and BR as vehicles that already are present in a tree

On the other side:

Hunter AFV for Israel

I, for one, highly applaud Gaijin’s decision to split Singaporean vehicles amongst different nations. This was a very difficult issue, especially with one playerbase making the very excellent point that Singapore should go to their tree based purely on apparent ethnic ties. The Israeli tree was sorely lacking in competent IFVs bearing the Mk 44 Bushmaster, and this vehicle will surely cover this gaping weakness. I think Gaijin should take this a step further and do away with the idea of subtrees entirely and add vehicles to where the turret was made. I cannot wait for Sweden/Norway to receive every single one of the vehicles produced using a Kongsberg turret, as well as for Israel to receive every vehicle made by Elbit systems. Good job Gaijin, for making a decisive decision here.

It’ll be found at a lower BR. All of their light tanks are the same br of 11.3, because… gaijin. This will give them a 10.0-10.7 option (what the namers should be tbf)

I highly, highly doubt this thing will be below 11.0. PUMA VJTF is 11.0, Freccia is 11.0, KF41 is 11.0.
Itll may be 10.7 at best, which doesnt change much since theres no other vehicle to put it with at the BR.

I can’t see the Hunter being lower than 10.7 and I’m leaning more towards 11.0 tbh

Israel doesn’t even have tanks between 10.0 and 11.3 anyways

why would it be at a lower br tho? same cannon, same missiles and neither has actual armor…

Sort of unrelated: what’s the stickman running purpose under your pfp?

I think for good players this thing will be better than the Namers.

Sure the Namers are fun to goof around in, but I wouldn’t consider them good. No mobility at all and very situational armor,

I can’t argue with that

It’s still a bit silly for them to say “we are adding this to add variety” lol

i dont want to be mean or anything…but doesnt Israel have like 3 bushmaster + Spike tanks in the same br? (Namer 30, Eitan (P) and Namer Tsrihkon)… that sounds really varied to me…

Plenty of relation betwen Japan and Singapore though. Combined with their TT turning into a de facto ASEAN tree, feels like the reasons to keep it solely an Israeli only vehicle are weaker than the arguments to add it to Japan.

Especially since shared vehicles like this can just be added to both TTs, like what was done with the Commando Stingray.

Did Japan develop and sell it to Singapore?
US developed and sold stingray to Thailand and that is why US got it as well (even though it should be removed for US tree IMO). Also IIRC US also tested stingray

Ah, yes. Israel with the burning need of spike launcher with a trashmaster, instead of…i dunno…Japan?
