Watching that video a few hours ago is actually what made me go knto the game and do some protection analysis for that 50mm turret ring/upper front plate section with some IFV cannon rounds. When I played with the engagement ranges, I saw that sometimes, autocannon rounds could penetrate the exterior through this plate, but then the shell gets stopped by the next layer of armor inside the turret ring… what was weird though, is the spalling from the first penetration continued traveling and phased through whatever stopped the round from fully penetrating.
So… in addition to the fact that this piece of armor is improperly modeled, we also have some sort of error in regards to the collision of the turret armor and the hull armor inside the turret ring, allowing spalling to continue traveling into the tank after only penetrating the outer layer of the armor.
Maybe because it’s been confirmed over and over again that ammo is balancing tool. And IPM1 actually used M900.
Thermals shouldn’t be.
T80U getting thermals, because T80UM had them is the same as 2A4 getting 3rd gens, because 2PL had them.
They are completely different versions of the vehicle and it makes no sense for one to get equipment, because other had it.

It’s not too critical. The game has a number of tanks and planes with incorrect names.
I don’t think it’s a stumbling block that 1 letter is missing. You can rename the tank, but it’s not very important.

Except all of those aren’t protos but are test beds or vehicles that fully worked but were cut due to budgets, or evolved into something else

DU in the hull not being added didnt even make me that mad, I was expecting that, but to be this ignorant to dare to say m1a2 turret cheeks have got DU in War Thunder even tho you made abrams armor off of castrated swedish export armor model without any DU present and using swedish trials armor thickness estimates from 1994(sep is from 1999 and sepv2 is from 2006) as their holy bible is by far the most ignorant thing about this whole mess. At least say abrams hasnt got its DU in its turret cheeks too instead of lying gajin. Not to mention lack of internal spall liners. Why did you even made sepv2 to war thunder. Tusk ii exists in sepv1 too and unmanned mg port adds litteraly nothing to this downgraded piece of shit. The only actual feature in sepv2 that is irl in actual sepv2 are thermals for machine gun, 99% of players dont even have keybinds installed for this crap, yes you can use new mg kind of like binoculars with thermals, thats alright. Meanwhile sweden gets nearly impenetrable mbt from front and germany gets tank with great armor and survivability 3rd gen thermals and best round in the game. Russia also gets sidegrade t80bvm for their lineup with spall liners which also good, while sepv2 is worse than its previous tank adding useless tusk ii to the game (the only feature is its ability to stop angled kornets, which is so rare beacuse they will target your gigantic turret ring anyway), not to mention all the other minor nations like israel france and italy which got litteraly spitted on, at least US got an answer(ridiculous one, but still). You didnt even bother making br decompressions for jets f4 phantoms can face gripens and su27. America HSTVl tank is 1.3 above 2s38 and bpm2m yet its somehow even worse than them. Content creator Spookston made several reports about HSTVL using declassified documents yet you ignored them all saying theyre “innacurate”. This and many other blatantly op premiums compared to their tech tree tanks are prove that gajin only cares about money. Despite reload buff that was made by gajin to say to US mains “take that -1s and shut the fuck up” so gajin will not have to make abrams armor reliable. Having to play with those 1 death and bye clickbaits and aims is litteral nightmare. There are so many innacurracies yet gajin does nothing about it. The current top tier both in ground and in the air is unbalanced.
