How would 3P ammunition be implemented in War thunder?

Currently in war thunder you cant change the “mode” of your ammunition, but considering that Bofors 3P may soon be added how on earth would the devs be able to implement it accurately?

Im curious what solutions there is to this issue. since there six uses it has.

yes, you can laser it and shoot it but it wont detonate but travel further.
So you can use DM11 to actualy hit enemy tanks as example

? HE-TF such as on the 8,8 cm Flak can allready be used as normal HE, i was more thinking, of actually reducing manually the arm distance, to actually hit planes with the air burst.

Could potentially just add a small menu which can be opened by holding/2xtap whatever keybind the shell is on

idk, ill try to see if i can find anything my guess is 30-60mm at best? since its basically a heckuva advanced SAP

Just add it as SAPHE-VT and it would cover all the different settings without needing keybinds for it (yes not the time fuze but nobody would use a time fuze when you have a proxy fuze, except for open-topped vehicles hiding behind a hill, which you won’t encounter at that BR).

Don’t know the exact figure, but >18mm RHA, probably a bit more since it didn’t have any issues with penetrating, but probably not above say 35-40mm.
