One is an earlier model, could be just PL-11 and PL-8s. The other one is the J-10A.

PL-12s on a much better FM compared to the J-8F and a good radar too, i would say it should be pretty good.

I expect something akin to an F-16C but more AOA oriented and less about rate fighting, both have powerful engines and are in the same ballpark in terms of weight

J10 may have received assistance from the Israelis in its design, but there is no reason to say that J10 is a replica or improved version of Lavi. Their wing design and duckwing position are completely different, and Lavi’s aerodynamic data is of no help to J10

The Lavi has a layout of “close coupled canard wing+swept wing+pitot tube inlet”, while the J10 has a layout of “mid-range coupled canard wing+delta wing+supersonic rectangular inlet”. The two are fundamentally different

By the way it is Chengdu J10, not Shenyang, Shenyang is in charge of J-8, J-11, J-15, J-16 and J-31. J-10 is developed by 成飞.

F-15J(M) is licensed built F-15C with slighlty better Ir missile, not gonna mention about AAM-4’s cause they are worse than Aim-120’s in game.
