How Was The M1A1 HC Named "Click Bait?"

I am very curious why they changed the “M1A1 HC” name to the “M1A1 Click-Bait” for their premium version, how they got the name “Click-Bait”

It was Click-Bait since added lol, legit since preorder it had this name.

Because calling it “A Little Toxic” probably seemed a bit close to the bone.

Also ‘Barbies Dreamhouse’ might cost too much in trademark royalties.

Actually a fitting name for a tank people spend $70 on just to find out that top tier is not as cool as they thought it would be

its an actual tank that was nick named clickbait by its crew if I remember correctly

Idk, I can’t find anything about it in particular. The real life tank it seems to be based on is “LOST Souls” from the 1st tank battalion during the 2003 Operation Iraqi Freedom. Can’t find anything about a click-bait though, unless there were more Abramses driving around with lawnchairs that I do not know of.

your right I can’t find it anymore, I remember seeing a picture of the clickbait with the crew chilling on it/ poking out the hatches. huh weird

For what it is worth…i also recall seeing these pics some weeks ago…

For some time now google searches seem to be more “controlled”…results from the past no longer appear…but the sites are still there…
Not a “tin hat” fan…but some filters are being put to effect…and not sure if they are there to help find what we want…

Don’t think it’s a real tank though, the click-bait lacks unit markings, idk what the W-1 means either and has kill marks on the barrel denoting Leopard 2A5, Challenger 2, ZTZ… it’s based on real life examples but all bashed together I think to create something unique.

I mean how many other Abramses were there with a lawnchair with a broken left armrest, it seems too unlikely. For what its worth too, I haven’t ever seen a picture of a real life Abrams named “click-bait”. But you are right on the google searches being more controlled, it’s really annoying, mostly new AI algorithms and such affecting what you find, maybe it’s time to switch search engines…

IIRC on the reveal stream where they showed off the M1A1HC “Click Bait” one of the hosts (Mike or Oxy) said something along the lines of “oh does it have the broken left armrest like that chair in the office”
