How to use the F4-Phantom radar lock (for the Nuclear event)?

Hello, I’m asking for help to whoevercan explain to me how to use the radar lock for that missle that require radar lock of the f4-phantom, I’ve the default settings and I don’t know how to set the radar and how it should work for locking the enemy :(
pls help

You dont.

99% of players are flying too low for the F-4Es radar to be able to lock onto a target due to ground clutter

Which Phantom? The Default one is Aim-7E-2

Then yeah, just use Aim-9Ls and guns. Unless the target is at 1000ft+ you wont be able to lock on
