How to Turn Down Resolution?

How do i set a resolution below 720p?

It’s not giving me an option for below it.
This is for my xbox handheld, I’ve found that playing at 1080p on the settings that I have currently (everything on minimum other than texture quality at high) makes the game run awful, at sub 60 fps (usually hovering around 40-60)
At 720p it runs a bit better, hovering around 80-100 fps.
But since this screen is 120 hz, I would like to run this game at 120 fps using the current settings that I have, and that seems to not be achievable as its not letting me pick a lower resolution.
This is the device that I am using.

Turn On V-Sync cause this Is’nt fortnite.

Put your Anti Aliasing method to (FSR) AMD

Then turn on frame generation

Then try disabling the Anti Lag cause it forces your game to be responsive throwing performance out the door.

You can also use upscaling after enabling FSR AMD.

Get back to me if you need more help

with v sync this feels amazing, idk why i never thought of using v sync lol. everyone says not to use it online

Its cause they play csgo or any shooter games which you need reaction time. V-sync adds a tiny bit of delay and makes the game feel a tiny bit slower but smoother. When I play shooters I turn it off. But on war thunder it makes the game run better.

To answer the original question; War Thunder explicitly doesn’t support resolutions lower than HD (720p). Maybe there’s a way around that limitation, maybe editing the config.blk file? Don’t know, haven’t tried.

Yeah you can edit the config file to be any res you want
