How to report a neonazi username?

Hey so I keep running into people with 1488 in their usernames, it’s clearly against ToS but the ingame report function seems to be very vague and my complaint is too specific. Is there an email I can send profile screenshots to in order to get these people punished? Thanks.

This number, 1488, is also known as “cape of Good Hope”. In asia this 4 number together also means Prosperous all the way through life or Wealthy for generations. You gotta think positive mate. Some nation will view it as bad stuff espically western nation, but in asia this is just some good stuffs 99% of the time.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You are correct that this specific imagery and numbering is a violation of our rules.

While the in-game report function is brief, it is the correct process for handling these cases and is the only place where reports are actioned. We require formal evidence through this system for all infractions before taking moderation action.

Relevant Rules

According to the Gaijin Terms of Service, this behavior is strictly prohibited:

  • Annex #1 (Game Rules, Section 6): Prohibits using the game for political purposes, including political messages, names, logos, or descriptions.
  • Annex #2 (Section 3.2.10): Explicitly forbids inappropriate usernames, including those referencing Nazi leaders, terrorists, or war criminals.

The GM team and I review these cases and can issue penalties ranging from forced name changes to permanent name removal.

How to Report

As mentioned above, please right-click on the offending user and click the “complain” button. You can use the “nickname_hatespeech” category and submit details in the message box to provide any additional context if you feel it is needed.
