How to RAH-66

As the title says.

I just got the RAH-66 but I jave no idea how to play helicopters at Top Tier and with the free vehicles killing ppl who are playing ussr means getting a Pantsir missile in the gace 2 seconds later.

Also a Hellfire B cant even kill a BMPT I hit it in the turret nothing in the hull nothing in the fcking side NOTHING.

BMPT aside (you won’t get it unless the snail blesses you as of right now), at that tier you can either shoot the hellfire, wait for the AAs to shoot their missile, go down/somewhere they don’t see you so you can evade it and then go up again to terminally guide the missile (be aware of the missile timer, so you know more or less if the missile is still in the air or failed). Or you can use the stealth to your advantage close the missile bay just after shooting each missile. That way the AAs will have to manually guide their missile and of course will only see your heli on their radar for a short time. To close the bay, you have to use the aircraft keybind, as it seems the heli controls doesn’t have an option. I recommend opening the bay before resurfacing in case you combine both gameplays as it takes a bit for them to open (just 2 seconds or so but still better to have them ready) unless you actually don’t know where the enemy is (if so go up with your bay closed as you’re less visible and look if there’s anything to shoot at). Also, I’d recommend moving, as doing the usual “AIr alert!” message while looking at your direction will basically point your position out to the enemy.
It is of relevance that you take the 6 missiles if you go stealth, as adding more will make it lose some if not all the stealthiness on your heli.

Also, I think the stealth doesn’t work at a specific range? Was it 4kms? Well, there might be some videos on that. Good luck!

Ok ty what does IOG mean it aays it on the missile guidance methods alongside laser.

Inertial guidance more or less. Basically the missile will go to the enemy’s last known location (it’s buns, so don’t trust it).

Yeah, this is because they refuse to give any other AGMs bar the LMUR a correct flight path, meaning the missiles impact incorrectly.

Combine with the state of soviet super-ERA. And you arent gunna do much damage to them.

Highest BR I’ll bring a heli is 10.7. After that I dont see the point personally, you cant do anything with SAL weapons between 11.0 and 12.7. You can try the IOG trick, but ive had mixed success with that in the past

This?
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn’t, by subtracting where it is, from where it isn’t, or where it isn’t, from where it is, whichever is greater, it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance sub-system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is, to a position where it isn’t, and arriving at a position where it wasn’t, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn’t, and it follows that the position where it was, is now the position that it isn’t. In the event of the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn’t, the system has required a variation. The variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn’t. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too, may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computance scenario works as follows: Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is, however it is sure where it isn’t, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subracts where it should be, from where it wasn’t, or vice versa. By differentiating this from the algebraic sum og where it shouldn’t be, and where it was. It is able to obtain a deviation, and a variation, which is called “air”

You are kinda cooked thanks to abundance 2s6, tor, hq17 and pantsir. Your performance depends on how incompetent spaa players are. You can use iog to deal with them but they can just pop your missiles then. Best idea is to search for spots where spaa cant reach you. That way you become both safe and your missiles become unexpected and harder to shoot down. For example, italy or campaign map has huge mountain left side of spawn where you can hide from aa and still have good view on targets.
