It feel like driving a Maus and it also have a very slow reloading rate and it dosen’t have anti air like it brothers. It very slow but it indeed have VERY good armor however it always get uptiered then it will die because of Fire… it taking very long just to put out the fire for some reason.

unlock AP and SAP rounds.
AP is awesome when facing 7.3 and other battleships, and while being on top of food chain those saps slaps like a grandad on dad with an belt.
Expert crew is a must , and firefighting mod is on priority list you really like to blow quite easily when catching fire.
long reload so learn to aim :D

And pretty much for all BB’s firefighting is a must, and IMO 2nd most important is probably improved pumps ASAP.
With 12 relatively fast reloading (you’ll find that soon enough!!) 12" guns this thing is a beast when it is top or 2nd top BR.

Never had so much of an issue of drowning on soviet battleships/Battlecruiser but that fire takes you out in no time :D
Feels like they are filled with wood and magnesium :D
But this event makes it quite a pain to play 6.3 and facing scarnhorsts and khronstads contiously. Trust me those salvos sinks poltavas like nothing :D
Interesting - I will take de-watering over firefighting every time unless the fire is in the ammunition
Oh yes - in uptiers they are a prime target - light armour and ammo spread all along them - I always go for them first :)
Yeah watering is problem on lighter ships, not so much on battleships, but fire is biggest enemy on soviet battleships and cruiser…
The fire just get bigger and bigger and your crew get BBQ

You can’t - you can dodge a bit, but best to stay reasonably close to other ships that do have AAA.
Ok I also unlock APHE now and is the APHE better at penning heavy armor uptier Battleships? they look like they are very good at ammoracking ships. and what are the weakest spot of most battleship and cruisers?
Because My poltava weakness is literally under the water and if anything enters over there it a gameover.
Pray you don’t get shot in the ammo elevator. Otherwise unlock AP and the guns are decent, certainly better than Nassau and Courbet but are otherwise nothing impressive
I am very sure it is more scary when you catch on fire. This ship catches on fire very easily. the ammo elevator is well protected by a thick armor.
