How to play kv1?

I angle in it, but I cannot pen the Sherman and the Sherman just goes through my turrent face while the panzer 4 f2 just Lol center Mass APHE nukes you hahaha

Learn their weakspots. Soviet APHE gets very good angle pen and you can shoot through some gross angles because of it. If you’re just diving head on into a heavy tank without knowing the weakspots of your enemies or even good map positions your setting yourself up for frustration.

Depends on the chassis, but yes all of them do, i normally go for turret cheeks or wheel well them if they try to angle, if its a sherman with a rounded hull you can hit the corners, if they have the bulges in front of the driver and machine gunner you can shoot their. When in doubt you can always go for the machine gun port.

Other wise when staring at them, left turret cheek bottom is more thin because of the stabilizer needing more room in the turret.

I basically only bring APHE, with the L-11 gun you should have enough pen to go through their turret weakspot, hell i know the KV-1B/E can and they have even less pen than the TT 3.7 KV-1

Also are you playing it in full uptiers?

Also, is it better to grind the t34 1941 first or the kv1s first?

Yeah that can be rough. I tend to avoid bring my heavies first spawn in a full uptier since they stop acting like heavies and play like slow mediums with no pen. Id suggest bringing the T34 (1940) as your first vehicle

I grinded the American tt to 5.0 but stopped after getting full up tiers in my t1e1 and m4 76w and stomped totally

I mean like all of my tanks m6a1 t1e1 m4 76w m18 etc… are all just paper and can’t really pen anything angled

Everything has a strength and a weakness. US tanks get stabilizers so you can use them to get a quick reaction shot while on the move compared to your enemies. Id suggets watching some vids on vehicles and seeing how some people play.

I don’t think I need a stabilizer since its so slow its basically stabilized
