How to get the .launcher for Linux?

Fresh Ubuntu install, with fresh WT install.
Downloaded → installed → where is my .launcher???

Cant find it anywhere now, and it used to be in WarThunder root folder. search gives no result. Can launch the game running “aces”. But i miss my launcher, with it taking care of updates :)

Hmmm, seems something more is missing. When i tru to play, i only get a minute in each match, before anticheat kicks me out. That did not happen on my last install.
Ill try a reinstall.

Solution:
Redownload the installer.
I followed a link for the first one, gave me a file named “updater_1.0.7.tar.gz”. I installed the game from that file(folder when unpacked).
Now the second time, i logged in to the warthunder page, “install” button on front page. That gave me the following file “wt_launcher_linux_1.0.3.15.tar.gz”, and using that gave me the launcher, and anticheat.

So the actual error was me doing a Google search, witch gave me this:

And i initially used the link in that page to download the wrong package :)

Hmm… I downloaded the Linux launcher from: War Thunder — Realistic Military Vehicles Online Combat Game for PC, Xbox and PlayStation. Play for Free, but I can’t figure out how to open the launcher. I’m running Debian 12 on Linux. I’ve tried double-clicking it, hitting “open”, but I can’t figure out how to get it to launch. Any help is appreciated!
