I mean you spawn inside it’s engagement envalope, which for a shorad is suboptimal
As long as you’re somewhat maneuvering it won’t hit you, however if you fly straight like a bot it will.
Just send them a HARM or two… oh wait. Never mind. Yet.

Hard to do that whilst trying to find him, especially if there is clouds and u don’t have FnF missiles.

if the pantsir player is smart and times it well, when someone with lots of sp on the other team dies they can launch at airspawn and because planes dont get spawn protection can kill them before they evade, with the ammo boxes the risk is much lower than it was before because its 1/24 missiles instead of 1/12

yeah just lob a couple HARMs and cluster bombs at their spawn

is it though? I can already normally guess if someone is gonna spawn a plane. Adding a rough timing isnt that complex and you have a fairly wide margin of error of the missile travel time.
Just because someone has enough SP doesn’t mean he’ll spawn in a plane lol.
This is essentially a dice roll, and sure it might work once every like, 10 times, but its not effective.
id say more of 1 in 3, but that still could be a better use of missiles than having to intercept lots of ordinance
Realistically the average time I get in CAS when a Pantsir is active is maybe 5 seconds. Right about as I get my bearings I’m hit.
