I know ARB at top BR is sit-show: where you sit and try to wait before joining dogfight 1 minute later and 90% of the kills are dead(either side) or you die asap if you are bold. But I swear to gold planes like tornado flying directly into middle dogfight like pure psychos and get much better RP per game than me.
Trying to play with F15-A but my missiles are getting broken while someone in f14 jousts tons of AIM-54s and return their flight. They get between 0 to 4 kill easily each game(I know I did)
I watched some good creator videos but I am not good like them and their games also feel like heavily curated. Games end 2 minute after first encounter for me.
depend what plane you use ? mind telliing what you want to use
F15-A basically. Mig 29s are fearlessly flying mid/high alt with their 2 radar missiles and i am licking the ground.
The most recent game, I was able to get 9M kill but kissed the ground when trying to dodge missiles coming at me. Autochaff and maneuvering, F15-A feels like it is not maneuvering well near ground(maybe ground effect?)
try to flank around the battle or just stay close to the ground but slower, no more than 900kmh, use hmd.
also hide behind mountains to lose lock of f14s and aim120s, take some incendiary bomb for multi base + 1-3 kills for better RP per game
F15-A doesn’t have HMD if i am not mistaken. I switch targets in src pd/tws mode but it is also not ideal. For the same reason you mentioned, I do slightly better in su-27.
Also, if I try to flank, I kinda become too late to the sit-show and maybe get a single kills. Some games are ending at 21 minute mark I swear(4 min into the game).

then just play straight to the battle and shoot, kill or no, you will die after 5 min instead of go around for 15min, save time but not so much enjoyable, until you get a good upgrade
I wish the games would let me do that. if I take napalms and flank largely, there is always some guy over bombing bases that detect me and shoot my fat plane top down easily. I was carrying napalms when I was near stock but it wasn’t helping me.
Base bombing also have reduced effectiveness- you get less score if you carry too many bombs I think. It is called Reward multiplier for bases. If you carry bombs enough for 3 base but kill only one base, it gives really low score-thus RP.
