Yes because if you have played a for while you know what you are doing. If you look at the post from which i quoted from - a lot depends on the MM. So if you play a few games and see stable nation allocations it is no problem to get 15-20 games without a loss.
No, because the MM tends to change during the day and changes also weather conditions. Worse weather limits my strategy to focus on the best enemy player.
Using it for wagers: Yes, i use it for 10 victory wagers with 80-90% success rate.
Don’t get me wrong - i don’t need SL or RP, i play just for fun. But even i have noticed that i have certain planes with ~ 70-80% WR.
I do, I main the Ouragan and the Mystere II which I both spaded, and I’m getting really comfortable with them. But for now I’m not good enough so it’s not a safe way to get sl, and I’d still like to unlock rank 6 soon so my rp doesn’t go to waste
You could always start a new tech tree or playing low tier, both option do get u sl quick or do as the other guy said and do the 10 kills wager thingy. There is like no safe method and if there is such a thing gaijin woulda patch it out long ago.
Another way of getting SL is the “Anti-mech” order in air battles - for 10k SL “stake” you stand to get 500k SL by killing the most ground units in an air game.
And you get 5 lives to do it up to 10 times for that 500k SL reward.
I get to the max about 1/3 the time in AAB, but you get a minimum of 50k SL just by achieving that once - and then another 50k for each additional time so it’s pretty easy to get 150-200-250k
But this is fully intended by gaijin as their goal is that you spend money to progress, and not time. In theory the experience you gained whilst playing the game should be in sync with your research progress, but gaijin allows way too fast progress at lower ranks to keep you attached.
Most more experienced players have an RP problem and not an SL problem as Air RB is no rocket science.
Switching from AB to RB has usually the additional downside that a lot of these players have not accumulated their XP in a single slot - so they have multiple slots and none of them is maxed out to level 75, which is depending on your enemy in an isolated 1 vs 1 a clear disadvantage.
In order to progress in Air RB you have to options:
Perform more or less useless tasks like base bombing in infinite loops
Work at your PvP skills in order to earn SL/RP with player kills
So your question “how to gain SL efficiently” depends on your preferred way to play the game. Whilst base bombing (with a premium plane or just premium time) looks easier and faster, the option #2 requires more time but allows you to progress in a much “healthier” way.
Most of the recommendations here work with the assumption that you have the capabilities to fulfill the requirements of various orders or wagers.
What you really need is a “go-to” aircraft which fits to your playstyle, has decent SL/RP modifiers and grants you a sustained and more or less guaranteed income every time you play it - just because you are able to make it work and kill way more enemies than you get killed.
My reccomendation would be:
Play rank II and III to farm the free battle pass premium planes. That should be possible. Use arcade and realistic as it seems fit. You will find them in the warbond store in every pass. Also collect the free premium pass vehicle.
If you have wagers Unstoppable or Thunderer, use those to farm thunderer/antimech awards in arcade. Don’t use orders simultanously, as they tend to create unwanted competition. Orders work well with boosters, as the reward from orders is boosed too.
Just be aware, wagers are a chore. If you are tired of one, don’t use rank 3 or higher in your lineup, that will pause the wager.
Yeah it’s not as bad as it could be. But as me and others have pointed out if you are going to spend money on the game do it on sale in november. Premium time or premium vehicle are the best investments
Yes, I realized quickly that I was progressing too fast. But the bigger problem is, I played arcade for quite too long so I didn’t really learn realistic until I got to rank 5. I tried playing realistic at propeller tiers, but I just can’t do shit there and it seems much harder to me…
I’m maining the Ouragan which I enjoy and I am already getting better with it, though it might take time before I catch back to what I should’ve learnt before
The main problem of my grind isn’t even silver lions themselves to be honest, it’s the fact that I get research points at a much faster rate so I get all planes unlocked way before I have enough to buy them
