How to fix?

Not sure how to fix as it happens a good amount
I am using DX12 for RTX

First things to do would be to verify files in the launcher, but I’d go further and get the compiledShaders folder cleared, as well as the cache folder in the game folder cleared out.

Then verify the files after those folders are cleared out and try again.

I reallly dont want to get rid of my tank and plane skins

Those aren’t in the cache folder. The game generally does not delete or overwrite custom client settings when it “fixes” itself or updates.

dont use the rtx its a shitty implemented function and not optimalized

I’ve seen others try this and it has worked for some but not others:
In the settings for graphics, change the Graphics API from DX12 to DX11, restart game, jump into a test drive and back to hangar again, change back to DX12, restart game.

Worth a try at least :)

Effectively a turn it off and on again… Best tech solution.

It makes the game look pwetty and I wike it

Back again that problem is fixed YIPPPPE but a new one is awakend during matches in tanks GRB the game just freezes for 5-20 seconds any fixes?

What are your system specs? My guess is that your system is not capable of running RTX, either performance wise or through a bottleneck.

For example I can also not run RTX (not that I would ever use such a thing in a PvP game anyways) despite having a 4090 and a decent enough CPU for the task. The main issue for me is that my 4090 is on a PCIe 4.0 rail and while performance wise that leaves only around 1% on the table it makes heavy RTX stuttery due to a lack of bandwith even if the fps and 1% lows look fine. Its not an issue of producing frames it is an issue of delivering them.

Your case sounds like an issue of getting the data for the rendering in time before the match starts.

nah it happens randomly during a match like 2-5 mins in and I defo can run RTX

Well considering your stories that is hard to believe.
So what are those specs?

3060
32GB ram
Ryzen 7 5800X

8 or 12GB model? But it does not really mater, the issue is that you are running out of VRAM. That causes the stuttering.
You can check your task manager while playing if you have two screens otherwise I`d reccomend sth like MSi afterburner with the ingame overlay showing your RAM and VRAM

it bugs me a little but I CBA to deal with it
