How to easily grind the event guide for no experience with air to air(my strategy)

(first test drive F4 and mig23 will pay off don’t do it for too long tho)

  • Pick your jet:
    • USA → F-4 Phantom II
    • Russia → MiG-23
  • Load as many missiles as possible
  • Use IR-guided missiles:
    • AIM-9 Sidewinder (USA)
    • R-60 (Russia)
  • Do NOT fire missiles near friendly jets (can lock wrong target → teamkill)
  • Stay behind friendly jets so they engage enemies and draw SPAA fire
  • Aim to get at least 2–3 kills
  • Watch for friendly planes (teamkills cost a lot of SL)
  • Be aware enemies can counter missiles using flares + chaff

Option 1: Air combat

  • Focus on enemy aircraft
  • Use positioning and missiles to secure kills
  • Build up spawn points safely

Option 2: Farm SPAA / ground targets

  • Attack SPAA and vehicles using cannons + bombs
  • Expect missiles from SPAA → stay low
  • Constantly use flares + chaff to survive
  • Destroy targets to build spawn points
  • SPAA and light vehicles can also be destroyed with your cannons if missiles run out or air combat isn’t going well → expect return fire/missiles

Nuke run (after ~250 spawn points)

  • Spawn a fast nuke-capable plane (F-4 or MiG-23)
  • Choose areas with lots of enemies (SPAA fields or tank convoys)
  • Fly high and use flares + chaff
  • Stay at least 12 km away from SPAA
  • Drop the bomb
  • Turn around and return to base
  • Nuke runs usually give ~250 spawn points → use that to get another nuke
(this might take 1-2 matches if you do it right)

For the F4-E, yes. For the Mig-23, sure, but the R-24Rs are too good to not use. Pretty much an instant win in a head on
