They could only give it 4 aim120b internally instead of 6 aim120c to balance maybe for a total of 8 possible aim120 if you bring the wing rails which would make it much easier to detect. They could add the aim120c later or keep the f22 early at a lower br maybe and add the late model later.
Service date means nothing.
The issue is the assymetry that would be created by some nations having stealth but most not.
F-22 with even half modeled stealth would just be annoying to fight against, especially as the F-15E is perfectly competitive at the moment and the leap is totally unneeded for a good long while.
Id expect to see 2025 the year of the F-18 and its various incarnations rather than the F-22.

Technically the early model could only carry the clipped wing variant of the 120C and 9M without HMD.
I think the only difference between Aim-120B and Aim-120C is the clipped wings. Its not until the later blocks of the Aim-120C that anything else changes.

Yeah the earliest Aim120C would give you more maneuverability for slightly less range.
I agree hopefully we see some cool new munitions with it too.
I’d almost wager that when the F-35 and F-22 are released, they will be equipped with luneberg lenses for “balance”.

Maybe, but whenever the US throws a tantrum, they usually get what they want. So if it did, it would be fixed before it made it to live.

I mean yes however it should be added without nerfs when the game is ready for it. I feel like this should be the case for any aircraft.
But you know what will happen. It will be added, even as accurately modeled as the game could possibly allow and there will still be a 1000 threads along the lines of
“F-22 should be impossible to be killed by an ARH missile at any range, fix the F-22”

Anyways back to radars and flight performance. Will the Hornet be able to dogfight the EF?
Eh… not an aircraft I know much about. but I think its gunna be totally loadout dependent. With light loadout, it will fair okay, but with a heavy loadout, it will be a sitting duck in WVR combat.
Its main strength will be 10x AMRAAM with a decent radar.

Do you think it’ll be at the top BR? It will barely be mach 1.2 without weapons load I couldn’t imagine it being fast with full. Unless they add a need for sead aircraft in the game it will probably be DOA.
Im guessing F-18C will be around 13.7.

true, but you can make some educated guesses.
For example.
In air, Britain just got the Typhoon and so Im not necessarily expecting anything this coming update except for maybe a C&P CF-18, but im not overly interested in acquiring that aircraft. A Hawk would be nice, but im not holding my breath
Typhoon bug fixes and buffs would be nice, but could take months for that. Been waiting 2 years for basic stuff on the Sea Harriers to be fixed
Ground I dont really care about
Naval, will probably be a Revenge-Class Battlecruiser given the Soviets got one last update and we didnt. Also maybe a Rodney overhaul, but we’ll have to wait and see for that.
