How to deal with missiles in this br?

How can I dodge missiles in planes such as the meteor which has no flares?

I mean… You turn?
In a Meteor you don`t exactly face very manoverable missiles

Hold S. Stay further away if you don’t want to hold S.

i dont think it works… got aim9’d every time i tried impossible … cant pull enough G’s to do that

No yeah he’s right, just turn. The Meteor is amazing at turning. Don’t drop below 500 kph if you can help it, and turn away from the missile. You wont face anything over 15gs of pull.

At that BR the missiles can almost be dodged by sneezing.
If you can’t dodge them you are doing something horribly wrong

lower your engine throttle to decrease its temp and turn aim9b’s are like 15g missiles I think cant remember but they don’t pull very hard

Keep an eye out for planes likely to have missiles - mainly F-86F’s but a few others too - as otheys have said they have very poor missiles.

This missiles are tail chasers only - so have to be fired from behind you - check anyone behind you! If you see a missile fired turn hard - the AIM-9B’s and similar really are not manoeuvrable and easy to dodge!

You turn…

Most missiles at that BR have a 10g overload, so it’s really not that hard to dodge if you keep your speed and watch your altitude. There’s a couple jets with higher overload missiles, and those you have to be aware of and not get into a bad position with them, such as the Aim-9D’s you have trouble with.

Aim9b has 10g of pull max.

Do a half barrel roll then pull and you should be fine.
