Ever since playing 12.3, i’ve been getting alot of full uptiers and getting slammed by Su-30 premiums that spam their fox 3s. Can anyone give tips on how to easily defeat fox 3s?

In a nutshell it’s going 90-95 degrees to the missile, popping chaff and pulling up or down to evade IOG

Since NE got added im using hornets off of the carriers, even in uptiers the SU30s dont seem to come over to the naval conflict often so you sit quite pretty.
being in places to outright avoid those things helps a lot, i also almost never go above multipath alts too so that im effectively radar missile proof

Jokes a side dealing with the su30 is very hard depending on which plane you are playing, me personally coped with it when I picked up the hornet for the US since it has a good radar an the aim7p that can re-lock to enemies mid flight, and even then some matches where hell since you will need to defend the whole match just to catch 1 or 2 kills if you are lucky.

It takes the firer to not be a zombie brained “radar picked up something im gonna shoot at it” for mpath to not be pretty foolproof.
Ive always been a low alt fighter as the ground is natural protection from radar and from stupid people becoming lawn darts. If someone comes down to fight me they have sacrificed their only edge on me to do it.
honestly the hornets radar is so good thats not needed too often. two more sparrows is huge though.
If i didnt care what tree it was in the swiss one is by far the best with its 120 countermeasures and better engines. Im stuck with the worst one in britain as i cant even spawn on carriers with it, let alone bring a HARM or Harpoon
Its genuinely impossible to properly notch missiles in most planes that aint an Eurofighter

Most of the times Fox3 battles in WarThunder are genuinely just random luck most of the times
How so?
Theyre either coming from single direction (like during the opener of the match) and these require little to no effort to defeat
or
they come from multiple directions but that is player sided issue since player has to position himself in a way that allows enemy to attack him from multiple directions at once.
Its genuinely easy to understand,positioning has legit NOTHING to do in air battles,you can be up 1298301238123 km going to the moon,if half of the enemy decides its your time,it will be your time
Beside,ive tried to shoot down eurofighters multiples times,yet their notch my missiles by not doing anything at all lmfao even im constantly tracking them,i guess my Fox 3 are fox 1 with a spy suit or sum
the game itself doesnt offer proper fox 3 battle where you can properly notch stuff,the only time i had time to react it was when multiple S300 in nuclear thunder tried to shoot me down
You go try now to dodge a Fox 3 by sum random bum going 0.1m above the tree line somehow sneaking behind everyone 3 seconds in the match and their name doesnt even appear on your screen even if your pilot aced to the brim its actively looking at it

The sacrifice will be worth it once you the eurofighters brother, with the changes to most of the fox3 in the game they have gone from top3 best plane to an easy top1 contender.
(Btw don’t miss on the 14.3 once since you can catch some good down tiers in the sales days)

I already had the typhoon when hornet game to britain mate. I have all of britain other than naval, arjun and wildcat.
If i like the premium in the brit tree ill pick it up and play it for the sake of enjoying the vehicle.
I only own 3 premiums for tree grinding, AV-8a, AV8B NA (because its a T10 but better CAS) and Hawk 209.
I play with Beeschurger whenever we get the chance. He is a very competent player.
and yes, positioning has a LOT to do with how air matches pan out. If you dont think thats the case, thats you getting skill gapped

All top tier planes ive played since dec 20 of last year:
Excluding F-16A which I use as CAS.
Positioning contributes significantly to being able to survive.
oh also not displayed because of the 50 battles minimum filter is Kfir C10 with 59,4% winrate over 32 battles and KD of 3 (57 kills to 19 deaths)

Well then the last resort is to pray that gaijin announces new br changes and the premium su-30’s go to 13.7 so at lest you can only see 4 of them.

ive been using the RAAF hornet at 12.3 for that reason. I want to fly the RCAF one more often but its not worth the hassle…
