How to change control types comfortably?

Hello everyone, hope you doing well ! (imitates the voice of TheEuropanCanadian)

I’ve noticed that when I press the button to change control mode, my camera automatically centers itself towards the front of the plane and I have to press it 3 times to return to come back at “normal” control mode.

The problem is that it’s not very ergonomic, it’s even a pain to use, so in combat I can’t even imagine :X

I can see that the person can change control mode very easily, while still keeping control of the camera. On top of that, this person seems to keep pressing and releasing his button to change control mode, doesn’t he?

In short, I can’t configure my game to be as comfortable as he is, any idea what I should do? If there’s anything I need to tweak or anything?

Ok, so I’ve found a way of not bothering with the camera any more, in fact I switch to free camera before switching control mode and I do my manoeuvres using the keyboard.

It’s much more comfortable :D

But there’s still the problem where I have to press the bind button 3 times :/
It goes like this: Simplified, realistic, competent, and only then can I go back to mouse aiming.
On the video it only looks like: Realistic > Go back to mouse aiming

That is my last problem :X

Unfortunately, to my knowledge, I don’t think there is a way to bind to just one of them. I think the game forces you to cycle through all of them.

I’m not sure how one would do that. I don’t switch my controls usually, so I’m not that knowledgable.

This is a ridiculous feature in the first place. It shouldn’t even exist. People that rely on Instructor assistance should also have to deal with its cons, with no option of departure.

I also noticed that some YouTubers could change from mouse control to full control in one click. It’s a mystery to me how they set it up, but the intermediate modes are not visually noticeable when the mode is changed. And immediately full control, and back. Did you understand how to do it?

hi late here, but i made myself a macro that quicly tap the control twice, since 2 tap from mouse aim to realistic then 2 tap to go to mouse aim ;)

Programmable mouse and keyboard courtesy of your best gaming accessory provider, and use profiles on thier software to change your keyboardss outputs to supplement the games switch option.

That’s about all I can point my finger towards.

Other than using autohotkey and going whole hog crazy…
