You can get your engine blown off, fire extinguish, and partially repair to move at low level speed.
Attaching the command tank as a trailer would be the best way to implement the shturm tanks in game. There should be a mechanic where destroying either the tank or the trailer would be counted as a kill.
To destroy the tank you have to damage significant portion of the modules or ammo rack it.

It would make more sense to just implement them with the same rules as multi-vehicle SAMS and, since they are uncrewed, force them to be repaired by others or their command vehicle.
