I read from the War Thunder Wiki, * Wing Breaker — destroyed the most air targets in tank battles (at least 5 enemy aircraft have been shot down whilst driving ground vehicles);
But does it mean you have to use ground vehicles to shot down enemy planes? Or you can use air vehicles in Ground RB/AB/SB to shot down enemy planes? And does scout drone count?

While this would imply you need to actually be using a ground vehicle when you get the kills, I had a look back through some screen shots of my better games and found some where I got wing breaker using CAP, at least I assume it was CAP, I’m pretty sure I didn’t down 7 planes with a KV-1 in GRB.
I think if the player is operating it it dose, I’m not sure how it works if they are operating it when you hit it then swap out before it crashes etc. Depending on what you are using though I don’t know if its worth shooting at them, stingers and non-proxy ammo SPAAGs are probably just wasting ammo trying to hit them most of the time.

Combat Air Patrol, basically taking a fighter out to fly over an area looking for enemy planes to destroy.
easiest way is still to spawn an AA early game, especially a good missile one

If it’s not mode dependent, taking the Sgt. York into Ground Arcade is basically terrorism.
It only requires ground mode. But maybe the arcade amount required is higher
Try your luck playing Ground Arcade Battles with a SACLOS spaa, and farm all the CAS.
Do it in Ground Arcade with BTR-152D or M42 Contraereo or ZSD63.
Get it done pretty fast with the above 3 vehicles.
Oh, yeah I should have been clearer, I meant mode as in arcade/ realistic, I’m not sure if he needs it for an RB specific task, like a special task or if is for something he could do in either, like a BP task.
