I’m a fairly experienced player, focusing exclusively on air simulation. However, I’ve never really explored the squadron side of things. How does it work? Are there organized, real-time battles, or is it simply about each member earning individual points?

You can play squadron battles. 8 vs 8 against another squadron.
You can also play squad with three other members of your squadron in normal battles.
are there active squadrons that actually organize 8 vs 8 ?
is this organized by the game, or with discord ecc
If I create a one-person (myself) squadron, will I be able to grind squadron vehicles on my own, or do I need to play with other squadron members for this?
Yes, but progress will be slow.
Unfortunately, there are squadrons that exist only for the grind.
It would be nice to actually play in squadrons with a mike, etc.
Can I grind squadron vehicles in a Training Squadron that can be created with Silver Lions?
Yes, but it’s slow. Join an active squadron.
I’m looking for AIR SIM team
There are squadrons where there is virtually no squadron action…but all the members benefit from the squadron bonus. Mine is one of those…no battles, almost no chat…i personally prefer it this way.
Making a squadron alone DOES NOT WORK. You will be able to research squadron vehicles, but is is SO SLOW to become pointless.
If you want to PLAY with squadron members then you need a squadron that does that…usually you can see which is which from the squadron description.
