I was trying to use L6-250 glide bombs on the JF-17 to take out S-300s in NE but the target pod sight is not stabilized at long ranges which makes targeting it harder. How to know maximum range for stabilization?
And also when I move my targeting pod sight it also moves the “Point of interest” how to disable this? Also when I am aiming at a target with targeting pod it shows a rectangle in the middle around the target that goes away when i aim away from the target. IS this somekind of “lock” that i can potentially use?

It’s 30km for everything
Also do I need to only take out the track radar on the S-300 sites or both track and acquisition?
Probably just track idk
I haven’t played much NE
The LS-6 bombs are also too large, so they mostly get intercepted. The IR version works at any range but again, they mostly get intercepted. China need their LS-6/100 or FT series glide bombs added.
My tactic for the targeting pod limit is set to a point of interest on the SAM site: hug the ground until 32-5km away, then pull up very steeply but still closing distance. Once in 30km quickly set aiming points, then judge how much more speed/alt you can give the bombs before pressing salvo launch.
What do you mean by “Salvo Launch?”
Salvo launch keybind will send all the selected bombs to the aiming points, something like a Gripen with 16 GBU 39s, you can just set two aim points, then salvo launch, and it will send all 16 split between those 2 points. Useful for flinging bombs too.
well with four bombs there isnt much point lol but i can see how useful it would be for lost of small bombs
The point is that you can prepare your bombs and targets long before you’re within reach of enemies so that you don’t have to focus on that while missiles are flying at you at the same time. You will free up some focus to do evasive maneuvers or to look for enemies instead of having to focus on targeting your bombs.
