How long after the event can I buy the stages with GE?

I’ve been grinding the meteor event to sell but I realised I might have wasted my time as school starts back the same day as the final stage of the event. I am using the free GE app and will manage to procure the required GE in around a week so I was wondering how long after the event can I still buy stages?
