This is explicit adult content. Yes you can say that you just need to blacklist it but the game is 12+ so Gaijin is knowingly exposing minors to explicit adult content. Not to mention,n this site is linked on the War Thunder launcher and is the only source of custom camouflages.
The second one is borderline minor-related.
It is this content that needs to be cracked down on instead of the 3rd party images rule that killed WT live.
War Thunder Live seems to have a entire separated environment from the rest of the game,
Regardless the best you can do is reporting it, there’s a report button where I think you can mark as a explicit content but I highly doubt they’ll be deleted/moderated.
@Smin1080p_WT Why is an in effect 18+ website linked on the war thunder launcher which is 12+ ?
Why is there no 18+ warning when opening WT Live?
Why is this content not hidden behind an NSFW filter?
How is this even allowed?
CCs cant even open this on stream cause they might get banned, or am I wrong ?
Blacklisting also only works when you are logged in, it is also manual so you have to be exposed to this sick crap, and clicking on the WT live shortcut on the WT launcher does not log the user in automatically.
‘Suitable for 12 and older’
3.0 Forbidden Actions
‘3.1.9. Erotic and pornography. Pornographic images and images which contain clear allusions to pornography, any links to similar content and any other material with erotic content.’
Seems moderators don’t look at the Live content.
Yep, unless the Community guidelines are old or not updated (last updated 10.07.2023 as of now) no one’s done anything about it. We’re not only talking about the age limit but the fact that there’s a lot of users who do not read the guidelines before publishing but also the fact that no moderators have done something to this. At least change something on the website to cover things. Moreover, the common community guidelines (the ones that en-globe all Gaijin portals like WT forum or the Enlisted Forum and the WT Live page) say the same about such content. It would either require a change to all Gaijin (change it to 18+) or something.
We are looking to these skins and any skins that breach the rules will be dealt within the scope of the guidelines.
What I can recommend for now is to blacklist the Anime tag and even the artist.
However we won’t just get rid of user skins with anime themes/images if it doesn’t breach the rules,
also age ratings are awarded via outside companies such as PEGI for the EU.
Oh, and let’s be honest, every time you search for a camo of a certain vehicle you see more posts like these rather than appealing camos. And it’s not difficult to look for them, just enter the page and first thing you get is these things.
I think we’re all okay with anime content, some might like them more and some less, but it’s just too much, you can’t wander the WT Live safely in fear of getting flash-banged by an almost naked girl.
While I agree 18+ content has no place on something like WTLive (tho honestly, they could just make an NSFW toggle to solve this issue), there’s a blacklist for a reason and if they don’t add the “anime” tag to their skin, they can just be reported for mistagging.
We looked into the posts linked above.
We had to take some of these down because they linked to a 3rd party website which allows NSFW content. Our rules prohibit any links to 3rd party sites with NSFW content.
In general the current age ratings allows for content where characters are fully clothed (read: no genitals visible). This was the case with those posts above. Additionally we take down stuff that is on the border of beeing way to sexual all the time.
Also if you don’t like certain content you can blacklist certain hashtags or entire users. That way you can filter Live:WT and only see the content you want.
