I know I have some history with posting about this plane on the forum, but how good is it? I’m now open for actual suggestions and I’m now rationally thinking and not going by instincts and feelings
It’s got turning and that’s about it personal I think it’s eh but definitely not unusable. You just gotta hope your fighting a lobotomite who turn fights you

You are slower than everyone else, you only get rockets (which after the unnecessary rocket nerf does nothing) to destroy ground targets (not bases), you’ll get maybe one or two eliminations before the end of the game (that’s if you get to the battlefield before the end of the game), and the only reason it is better is because it is at 7.7 (should be 6.7).
People will justify it as, “buh buh tuhn fightuh” but here’s the thing: nobody turn fights at that BR. I think I’ve only had a few rolling scissors in pubs, that’s it. It’s all boom and zoom. The only time I’ve seen turn fights are in Customs. So yeah, if we have BRs for customs, the Vampire and co. can be 7.7-8.0, otherwise it should be 6.7-7.0
It’s rubbish and gets smacked by mig 15s. You can’t sugarcoat it, it can turn but that’s it, and no one’s gonna turn with you
I had fun with it because it turns hilariously well, also has some nice guns and plenty ammo, overall pretty forgiving aircraft. However it is very slow so if someone doesn’t want you to fight them you will not, which is annoying.
Interesting experience, but not something I’d play every day. My favourite Swedish plane around that BR was the J29A

Haha, hunter was something I was asked to add in my name by my squadron, haven’t even played it yet. That’s accurate, I love the tunnan, though not as much as the Ouragan

So far I hate the J29F but hopefully it gets better when spaded. The J29A however, was a lovely experience. I had a positive KD all along the stock grind, which is impressive from me
Idk all I ever play is 8.7 in the A29B or J29A
Tbh it’s very personal, everyone has planes they like and others they don’t like. The J29A has its own playstyle where it’s good, but that playstyle isn’t for everyone. This goes for everything
Well I’d maybe enjoy it if I wasn’t fighting 8.7s it’s weird I can’t think of a time where I didn’t have full uptiers playing the Tunnans.
Speaking of aircraft if we ever get the XT no way it’ll be playable same for the MK.51A

Bad luck, happens sometimes. I had that issue with the J29F.
I dunno about that, I guess we’ll see. Hopefully won’t be that bad
Honestly neither will likely be added or if they are they’ll be unplayable or gimped
