How does squadron battles work

I am the commander of the squadron =GGer=. I have been seeing people playing squadron battles to win unique tag borders and decals, but I couldn’t find a clear guide to this mode. How does squadron battle work? Is it easy to find a match or do I need to contact other squadrons for organizing a battle? Will squadron battles count for grinding? What does the timetable for squadron battle look like? So many questions, hope get more info about this mode. Thanks!

As for you questions i can’t directly answer most of them as i do not play that mode, but this one:

I’m not sure for regular RP and tree progression but i do know that it doesn’t progress the event score, there is however a suggestion up for that if you want to support it:

It has a matchmaker. You hit to battle as a squad leader (not a squadron leader. squadron leader doesn’t have to be in the party to start a squadron battle) and the matchmaker will find you a squadron to fight against. This is ranked so you will be matched against squadrons of similar rating.

Yes, you do get RP and SL but it’s going to be limited a lot since there are no respawns so at max 8 kills your team can get.

Can’t tell you exactly since I haven’t played in so long but there is two slots. One for US region and one for EU (I mean you can play in either but the “US” one is in the middle of the night for Europe for example). “European” one starts at around 1300 UTC and lasts 8 hours I believe. Don’t quote me on this since it’s kinda finicky with daylight saving and I can’t remember if they adjust for that.

Thank you! I found the post where they update every two months for squadron battle schedule. But they didn’t mention at what time they start squadron battles on a daily basis. Do you have more info about the time they start the squadron battles every day? Is the squadron battle only available on weekdays or weekends?
