How do you use the different setting options for creating a poll?

Min choices and max choices would be like Pick max 6 of 10, or a min of 3.

One per line on the options would be the answers to select.

So 10 lines of answers, min of 3 max of 6 would allow picking up to 6, or a selection of 3, and any number in between.
